Hope

My name is Hope. The first question I get asked often is, "Is that your first name?" Most people associate it with a last name. When I tell them it's my real name they comment on it. Sometimes the people I meet are feeling low about something. We formally greet. I tell them my name, they breathe a breath of fresh air and smile. It makes me happy to know through my name, I lifted that persons spirit. I love my name! It is simplistic and it goes beautifully with my spirit. During this present day and time, it is important for us have hope. Hope is something we can't live without. In the most despair of situations, there should be a glimmer of hope. That is the mustard seed that performs miracles from within. It is the foundation of faith. No matter who you are, you must have hope that things will get better. Have faith in knowing situations will turn around for the better. Hope brings all people together, no matter what economic scale you may fall on, no matter what color you are, no matter your current health situation, you must have hope. It is my desire to partake in sharing and caring more for our fellow man. No matter who he or she may be. Let brotherly love continue. I would like to hear from you. Please share your thoughts and story. We all have a story. You may be facing foreclosure, trying to find a job, any thing life concerns may have you burdened with in today's state of the economy. DO NOT GIVE UP! Trust in knowing there is hope. I am a living witness that God loves us. I would like to hear from you. You can't be too young or too old to share with us your concerns and issues facing the world today.

My Soul, Hope, and Trust is Anchored in the Lord

Despite how things may look with the natural eye, God is in control and all things will work together for the good of them who are called according to His purpose.

"Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them". Hebrews 7:25

For we have not an high priest that cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities. We have a comforter and a Mighty King who is exceedingly able to change our lives, our situations, and our hearts to be able to receive heavenly peace right here on earth amidst destruction and uncertainty. Trust in God and allow Him to work everything out. Love one another without condemnation and take everything to God in prayer and I am persuaded He will answer all our cases.

May the Lord bless you all and keep you is my prayer.

Continue to pray fervently for one another.

*Strive to Be A Ruby*

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies". Proverbs 31:10-31

The words of King Lemuel for his mother who taught him what a woman should be. She instructed him to be upright and behave as a King should. For that thought; women should take heed to this wonderful literature of art which teaches us who we are in God and to be careful not to spoil who we are and what we should stand for in a mate.

Rubies are different. They are after God's own heart. They pride themselves on virtue and they wait on the Lord to shape, mold, and condition a Man to be able to love them as God loved the Church. Do you know where Rubies come from? "The purest reddest stones are the burmese rubies, which were originally mined in "the valley of rubies" in now what is now called Myanmar". Rubies are hard to find. They are buried deep beneath the earth. They sometime go overlooked because they cannot be seen with the natural eye. Rubies never get in a hurry for love. They submit to prayer and supplication to God to send love if it's His will. They are strong and they understand that any man cannot provide them with what God has established their purpose for. Rubies practice abstinence. They are not anxious. Rubies understand that marriage is honorable in the sight of the Lord. They condition themselves with expectancy because they know God will provide. Rubies STAND for something and they do not FALL for anything!

Rubies, you are worth what God has for you. Don't be in a hurry. I once heard it said, "you might be down, but not desperate". Wait on God and pray for the power to withstand.

Let us pray fervently for one another, love one another, and help each other.

I love you, but God loves you more.

How Do We Show God We Love Him?

One may ask, "What shall I render to God for all His benefits toward me"? The answer is, Obedience! Those who hear and obey the Word of the Lord will be richly blessed. Believe it or not, Obedience is a requirement. God's Word is not void. Someone will hear it and take it at face value. That is one thing I had to learn to do, take the Word of God at face value. Do not try to change it, bend it, nor conform it to your own standards of justification. God says "be not deceived". It is what it is. The devil has blessings too. Be sure yours come from God. Obey His Word and try with all your heart to do His will. What is His will? Sin not! His Word teaches us how to live and thrive. If we follow His map (the Bible)we can only reap the benefits of this Great God! Suffering is in the Contract, but the Comforter will come and we can live abundantly through Christ.

Let us Love one another with longsuffering. Pray fervently for others. Finally, I HOPE the good Lord answer all your cases.

Trust In God at All Times for Everything

This theme is supported by Psalm 62:8, "Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us".

When I read this, it captured me instantly. Scripture tells us to acknowledge God in all our ways and He will direct our path. If we did that, it would eliminate bad decisions, poor judgement, and added stress. We should take everything to God in prayer and let Him bare the burden. That is what He is; a burden bearer. Utilize what has already been set up from the beginning of time. I am one who believes in pouring my heart out to God. I do not rely on friends and the advice of anyone else beside a true, ordained man of God. I go straight to the source of everything. Communication through prayer and supplication is the most essential way to gain guidance, wisdom, and instruction. God wants to use us for His purposes. Whatever that may be. Do you believe in Him and what He is capable of? I do. Why? Because I have seen Him work it in my own life. The mere fact that I am still here is testimony enough. If it were left up to me, there is no telling where I would be.

Let us remember to fervently pray one for the other and watch this Mighty God work. I assure you; you will be astonished. God is Great! Our imagination is not capable of what He can do.

I love you, but God loves you more and better.

God's Love is All the Love We Need

The love and Peace of God that surpasses all understanding is a beautiful gift. No matter what lies before me, I am always brought back to the love of Christ. Many things have happened to me personally, but love, growth and development never ceased. I thank God today for the free will to place my thoughts on this page to share and praise Him for His many wonderful blessings and benefits. We all stand in the need of prayer. Share your love and blessings with one another. God works through each and everyone of us. Allow Him to use you today. Open your mouth and reverence Him through His good and mighty works. Don't think God does not hear our prayers, cries for help, and edification. He is there and can fix any situation. Let's not place our love in all the wrong places. God's Love is all the love we need. It is the best love one can give or receive. Reflect on the love of man for a moment and you will clearly see that God loves us better than we love ourselves.

Let us remember to pray for one another rather than judge. God can fix it!!
